Overview
The S.T.A.B.L.E. Program is a post-resuscitation, pre-transport stabilization course designed to provide important information about neonatal care for healthcare providers in all settings. A uniform, standardized process of care and comprehensive team approach can improve the infant's overall stability, safety and outcome.

ANCC Learning Outcomes
  1. Improve patient safety for infants by standardizing processes and approach to care; encouraging teamwork; identifying areas where medical errors can and do occur; and, reducing and eliminating preventable adverse events and errors.
  2. Organize this information using a mnemonic to assist with retention and recall of stabilization activities that are critical for the post-resuscitation / pre-transport care of sick infants.
