Cardiac care for children is a highly specialized field. This presentation will address the evolution and expectations of neonatal cardiac surgery and the benefits of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to the management of Congenital Heart Disease (CHD).

1. Discuss the neurodevelopmental risks in babies with congenital heart disease.
2. Identify the expected clinical outcomes of newborns with critical congenital heart disease.
3. Decribe multidisciplinary management opportunities through the use of a dedicated pediatric heart team.
